Parents

Yes, you count a lot

Parents are our backbone

You are our heroes. Without your encouragement and commitment your children would not have this opportunity. It’s why we encourage you to join us and your student in Cuba. Once there, you’ll be able to divide your time between observing student activities and exploring the art, music, and vibrant culture of Cuba with a dedicated guide. Ironically, Cuba’s limited access to wifi ensures the emphasis for you and your child will be on face-to-face teaching, learning, growing, and bonding through actual human contact.

There’s nothing like the sound of String Week in Cuba

Divide your time between observing student activities and exploring the art, music and vibrant culture of Cuba with a dedicated guide. A way to be more than tourist, you’ll have an inside look at the educational systems on the island while supporting independent artists and businesses. Take a look at a sample itinerary here.

Parent reactions

“I gained perspective in terms of witnessing a way of living that is so different from my own.”

This trip was much more than just an orchestral journey; it was an educational and life-enhancing experience.”

You will be involved

A foundational part of our humanitarian experience is assembling and delivering the tools, supplies and materials that are difficult for Cuban students to acquire in their homeland. The result is thousands of pounds of donations per year to our partner schools in Cuba, helping make the lives of hundreds of students and their families a little bit easier.
